I used to work for MiddleTown. If you have a minute, I recommend reading the company reviews on Indeed. Not only are the majority of the reviews from tenants negative, but so are the majority of reviews from people within the company.
I can corroborate the allegation from these reviews that there is an incredibly high turnover rate. Sometimes entire departments would essentially be replaced over the course of several months. I witnessed multiple departments disappear because everyone in them quit and the executive team decided not to replace them. One of those departments was HUMAN RESOURCES. At the time of my departure, they had no HR and no plans to replace the HR team that quit months before. MTPG kept insisting that they were in the game for the long haul, but I always had a hard time reconciling that with the fact that people would quit and never be replaced, especially with positions as essential as HR. I’m not alleging anything about the state of the company, but if you worked somewhere and saw all this happen, what would you think about that company’s stability?
Here’s something that MTPG doesn’t seem to get: when your turnover rate is that high, at some point, it stops being because people “weren’t a good fit for the industry” and becomes clear that your company in particular is driving people away because people think it sucks. Some people who work for MTPG genuinely do care and want to help tenants as much as possible — but most of these people don’t last long.
