MiddleTown Property Management loves to advertise “quality living,” but here’s the truth: they’ve mastered the art of collecting rent while doing the bare minimum (if that) for tenants. The formula is simple: ignore repairs, cut corners, and then cash in on bogus fees when you move out.
Heat not working in the dead of winter? Don’t expect action — just a closed maintenance ticket magically marked “completed.” A flood in your unit? Their maintenance guy might wander in, shrug, and admit he doesn’t know how to fix it. What you’ll actually get is standing water and black mold — and later, a shiny little “cleaning fee” for “organic matter” in the exact same spot they refused to address. It’s not just negligence, it’s a business strategy.
But it doesn’t stop with the mold. MTPG makes themselves right at home in your home, entering without notice like it’s their own Airbnb. One gem of a moment? They scheduled a unit tour without adequate notice, then charged a “refusal of entry” fee because I dared to be on a work call. Translation: their screw-up, your bill.
And the encore? Nearly $800 in move-out charges for “damages” that were either pre-existing (documented at move-in), caused by their neglect, or pure fiction. I have a year’s worth of maintenance requests to prove it. These people could write the book on predatory fees.
MiddleTown Property Management doesn’t manage — they exploit. They profit off unsafe housing, ignored repairs, and trumped-up violations. Their “business model” is slumlord chic with a customer-service smile without teeth. If you rent from them, don’t be surprised when your lease ends with a horror-story invoice for problems they created.
