Thanks for nothing

We were renting through private landlord, paying $600 a month. He passed and Middletown took over. They decided to raise rent come September when we were to sign new lease. The last day of August we received a notice that they weren’t renewing our lease because they wanted to ‘renovate’ the house, so we had til Sep. 29th to be out. Someone new was in with in 2 months. So what ‘renovations’ did they do that in less than a month that we couldnt stay in the home? Now getting 1200 a month out of home. They are trying to charge us for all things they had to do in home once we left. We never signed a lease with them once they took over after our landlord died. I don’t really care if I get anything out of this personally I just want to see these jerks fry.
