This property group has been nothing but liars and cheats the whole time I rented from them. It began when we first were looking at their available apartments. The one we decided on was promised to have an elevator and pool. The whole year we lived there the elevator and pool were closed. We originally moved in on the first of August, 2024. We found out the first day that the AC did not work. It took till October for a replacement to be installed. The heat was unbearable. Next when moving in there were no smoke detectors or mailbox installed. The smoke detector was replaced fast but the mailbox was not installed for a few weeks after we moved in. They also made several threats to charge us during our stay for thing we aren’t liable for. This includes the threatening of charging for keeping a trashcan they gave us in the hallway even though I informed them I didn’t need another trash can filling up my small apartment.
The main issue I’m dealing with now is that they sent a deposition recently charging me 1200 dollars in total for work on my apartment. They did not provide a true itemized list but within their list they included basic cleaning and patching of nail holes which is illegal.
